A lively, vibrant, cracking good read about an African American DJ who travels to Germany to find the composer of a particularly arresting piece of music. I had a lot of fun reading this vivacious, raunchy and bittersweet novel. The plot bounces along on the elastic language and nicely sketched characters and the narrator's meditations on race, culture and music. A fun, well-written read.
