The Orphan Master's Son: A Novel
Long, dense and engrossing story set in North Korea. It was kind of like reading science fiction, because I know so little about conditions in the country, so I tried not to worry about verisimilitude as I turned the pages of this thriller. An unforgettable book, I'm sure it will do well with literary readers and popular fiction fans as well.
