The Cailiffs of Baghdad, Georgia: A Novel

The Cailiffs of Baghdad, Georgia: A Novel - Mary Helen Stefaniak This tale of race relations just never caught fire for me. When a nonconformist teacher arrives in a Georgia town, trouble arises when she tries to teach her students about the Middle East, and when she tries to convince a student that her brother is really a prince. I was sort of bored reading this and couldn't really get into it. There was a lot of emphasis on things that didn't seem important and it was hard for me to keep reading.
